Shimano’s XT CS-M8000 Cassette is designed to pair with Deore XT 11-speed cranksets for smooth gear transitions that keep the rider in rhythm whether climbing or pushing down the descent. It features an alloy spider and largest cog to keep weight low, and the rest of the cogs are made from steel for lasting strength and long wear.

Compatible with Shimano / SRAM 9/10/11-speed freehubs. Will not work with XD drivers. Approximate weight is 440 g (11-42T).

Cog sizes:

• 11-40: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 27, 31, 35, 40
• 11-42: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 28. 32, 37, 42
• 11-46: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 28, 32, 37, 46

Note: 11-46 cassettes are compatible with 1x drivetrains only. If switching from a smaller range cassette, a new chain will likely be required in order to accommodate the larger 46T cog. Compatible replacements include the Shimano XT HG701 Chain and the XTR HG901 Chain.
