The XC502’s lightweight Shimano Ultread XC rubber outsole delivers an ultra-durable competition-grade grip that lasts. The mesh/TPU and Synthetic leather upper are optimized for a comfortable fit and an ultralight advantage.

The BOA L6 dial on the instep strap quickly and comfortably secures a wide range of foot shapes, with Shimano’s proprietary Surround wrapping upperstructure reducing overlap and providing a glove-like fit. Rider-tunable spikes allow riders to select and swap spikes to match riding styles and conditions. A low stack height at the midsole helps stabilize foot in relation to the pedal, maximizing power transfer and efficiency.
