Shimano Ultegra RD-R8000 11spd Rear Derailleur

The Shimano Ultegra RD-R8000 11spd Rear Derailleur gives their Ultegra groupset a modern update, trickling down all the new features from the Dura Ace 9100 series with a marginal weight gain, but a substantially more affordable price. With the Ultegra 8000 rear derailleur, Shimano incorporated their SHADOW RD low profile design, protecting the derailleur in the case of a crash that allows for more stable shifting performance due to its optimized slant angle.

The Ultegra RD-R8000 11spd Rear Derailleur is available in two different versions, depending on what cassette gearing is prefered. The RD-SS covers cassettes from 11-25T to 11-30T, while the RD-GS is compatible with cassettes from 11-28T to 11-34T.
