Shimano Polymer Coated Brake Cable Set

For the smoothest mechanical braking possible, Shimano has released the Polymer Coated Brake Cable Set.

Friction is the enemy of braking smoothness and effectiveness. To this end, Shimano has developed this cable set, using polymer coated cables, pre-greased housing, and seals to keep out contaminants, to be the smoothest around and yield easy and effective braking with each pull of the levers.

Set includes:

• Two lengths of housing pre-lubricated with silicone grease, 1800mm and 800mm
• Two polymer coated inner brake cables, 1000mm and 2000mm
• Two sealed ferrules
• Two cable ends

Available in various colors and provides brake cable and housing for one bicycle.

Note: Shimano ONLY approves the polymer coated cables for use with 9000 and 6800 series plus newer brakes with stronger cable fixing bolts.
