The Shimano Brake Hose Olive and Insert v.1 is what you need to attach a shortened hose to the brake lever.

One set (includes one needle and one olive) is enough for one brake, so you will need to buy two sets if you wish to cut both your lines.

This Shimano replacement part is designed to fit the BH90 hydraulic brake hose, standard on most (2012-newer) Shimano MTB disc brakes.

It is NOT compatible with any other hoses besides BH90.
